Rime.ai values your privacy and is committed to protecting your information. This policy describes how we handle data on our website and services.
Data Collection
We operate with a default zero data retention policy. We do not store or track user inputs beyond what is necessary for error handling, infrastructure maintenance, and billing.
- Server Logs: We collect minimal server connection and health logs to ensure service reliability and security. These logs may include connection details and system health metrics and are retained for 90 days.
- Billing Information: Payment processing is handled through Stripe. We do not store payment card details directly.
- Optional Features: Users may opt in to our Pronunciation QA feature, which tracks decontextualized words for quality assurance. Data is aggregated by team or user and is not linked to identifiable content.
Data Usage & Retention
- No Training on User Data: We do not use customer data to train AI models unless explicitly requested and agreed upon.
- Limited Retention: Logs are purged after 90 days, and no long-term user data is stored unless required for billing.
- Billing Data: Retained only as necessary to comply with financial and tax regulations.
User Rights & Control
- Opt-Out & Deletion: Users can request deletion of any retained data by contacting security@rime.ai. Requests are processed and completed within 72 hours.
- Consent: Users must opt in to any additional tracking or QA features; default participation is off.
Security Measures
We maintain strong security controls to protect data, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and ongoing monitoring. Rime.ai is SOC 2 compliant and adheres to HIPAA standards for handling sensitive information. Additionally, we will sign BAA, DPA, NDAs, as well as SLAs in place that will take precedence over this policy.
